MEET THE TEAM

Ernie Lange and Trevor Field bring close to 100 years of experience in the butcher and meat cutting profession. Their knowledge and passion make Ernie’s, a one-of-a-kind meat store. Working alongside each other for the past 15 years has created a trusting friendship.

 

ERNIE

Ernie has been cutting meat since he was 16 years old. He worked for Safeway Corp. for 20 years, owned his own store in Ritzville, and cut meat for Food Pavilion and Harvest Foods Lep-re-kon, until his retirement in May 2021. Being part of opening Ernie’s Quality Meats and Wine is a dream come true for him. Val and Ernie have been married 50 years and love being a part of the Moses Lake community.

 

TREVOR

Trevor began his journey as a sophomore at Lind High School. Agricultural classes and the FFA Meats Team inspired him. His first job was with Basin Meats in Moses Lake. He worked as a meat cutter in Reardan, Ritzville, Othello, Connell and Moses Lake. He is passionate about sausage making, curing hams and bacon. Working with Ernie at Harvest Foods Lep-re-kon, for the last 15 years has enabled him to learn all that Ernie had to teach! Joining us at Ernie’s, gives him his chance to get creative and lead in the kitchen!

 

KEITH + PAM

Keith and Pam Tunstall are the owners of the business and can’t wait to serve the community of Moses Lake in this exciting adventure! Former elementary school teacher and business entrepreneur joined forces with the best butchers Moses Lake had to offer to bring this dream to reality. We love getting to know our customers and being a part of your weekly dinner plans. Join us for Wine Wednesdays for extra fun and community bonding. We can’t wait to meet you or see you again.
